Common questions
5- What does a school or PTA website cost?
- $900 per year, flat — no setup fee, cancel anytime, rate locked for three years. That covers design, migrating content off your old vendor, hosting, a CMS your volunteers can run, accessibility work, and ongoing content help.
- Who owns the website when it is built?
- You do — outright. The domain, the content, and the source code, which lives in a GitHub repository under your own account. There is no lock-in and nothing to buy back if you leave.
- How long does a build take?
- Two to four weeks for a school, PTA, or nonprofit site; one to three weeks for a local business site; three to six weeks for a sports program with rosters and schedules. Discovery call to launch.
- Who actually does the work?
- One engineer, directly. There is no account manager, no offshore hand-off, and no ticket queue — you email the person writing the code, and you get a reply within one business day.
- Do you work with schools that cannot pay?
- Yes. One in five schools on the roster pays nothing. Title I and high-need public schools can apply, funded by the schools that can pay.
